New movie: Fury

What's that "hogleg" Pitt has in the shoulder holster ?

Someone posted on it here a few weeks ago. It is a M-1917 S&W .45 with Plexiglas grips from a plane canopy. Photos are under the Plexiglas.

The crew looks pretty scruffy for real GI's. Hollywood always has to mess up such things. But I'll probably look for this one in theaters. Or, rent it on DVD.

Saw a trailer for it yesterday, and it looked great. Another poster said this MAY be the first film told from a tanker's perspective? I don't know, one way or the other.

Looks interesting.
Remember the old TV show FURY? It was about a horse.

My other half's father commanded a Sherman at D-Day and many other campaigns during the war.
Even though it is Hollywood, there will be some truth's in the movie if your savvy enough to see them.
Can't wait to take her, and point them out, she loves to learn about the history of that war.

"Courage Under Fire" with Denzel Washington was at least partly from a DAT... I mean, tanker's perspective. :D:p So was "Tank" with James Garner, but I don't think that counts.

Yeah, should've clarified WWII. I've dug all of Denzel's flicks. ONly saw Tank once, and I recall it being pretty funny.
