New Owner UK :)

Hi GM - regarding ammo, I posted the other day re RWS semi auto. I went to my range today and sent 500 through the Smith during the time I was there - zero fail to feed, fail to fire, stovepipe etc etc. it was pouring so I bench shot from cover. 1 to 1.5 inch groups at 60 yards and then surprised myself with one right in the black at 110 with I'd say only maybe a 5" holdover.

I don't want to bang on about this RWS stuff but it is good (picture from last weeks outing but was similar today) - and it shoots the same spot as the Winchester subs I rabbit with.

Give it a go....

I'm off to the shop tomorrow...must be new stuff...it is more than likely not in stock...How about the other RWS stuff club or target? I really want to try this semi auto stuff now. I mainly put eley through my bolt action...and just to ease cost while I de-itch my trigger finger through the smith I chose cheapo stinky aguila. But I don't think my barrel likes it too much...so if I cant get any of this stuff...I may go for the club or target...if I can resist the urge to splurge on the eley edge :)
Thanks for the info :)

Hi GM - have tried the target too - had one stovepipe in about 200 rounds sent. What I would say is that the target leaves more residue i.e. more sticky out of the box. Haven't tried the match as it's another £3 or so per box.....
