New PU Plate

vrichard

I'd like to add my thanks to you as a member of the "Greatest Generation", sure wish you were not a dying breed, we sure could use a few good men with gonads now!

I got my ww2 plate for my H.D.now I have one for my p.u.They might be just a few out there.

For your "HD"? As in Harley Davidson? As close as I can figure you must be, at least, mid 80's. And riding a motorcycle?

Yes, your generation was plenty tough! Thanks for your service, sir.

In my previous job I had the honor to meet and photograph quite a few of our WWII Heroes. Their stories sent chills down my spine. Truly The Greatest Generation.

Now, about that plate- much nicer than the WWII Vet plates they issued in PA!

Sir, thank you for your service and I:

I just want to thank you for saving the world.

Thank you so much!!!!

Thank you for my freedom.

Thank you for the sacrifice you made without thought of reward.

Thank you Richard.
Your generation paved the road of hero's.
I salute you sir.

My pappy was one of those folks that was hard to buy for. If he needed anything or wanted anything, he was finally able buy it.

A couple of years ago, I ordered a vanity tag for him. It was YMS55, which was his WW II ship. It was a yard minesweeper that served in the Med. I was able to really please him on his birthday. He was extremely proud of that tag and explaining it's meaning to a number of folks. I just wish I had gotten the WW II veteran plate too.

He passed last summer at age 88 and I sure do miss him.

There's a reason they called them The Greatest Generation: These young men and women left their homes, their towns, their schools and jobs, their friends and lovers, and they put on their country's uniform and went off to save the world...

Thanks for your service to our country, sir. God bless you... :)
