Smith Mod 66 2.5" bbl with custom rosewood grips. Now, if I told yall what I paid for her you'd put out a contract on me.

Well, it doesn't appear to be pinned & recessed, so I'm assuming it's at least a 66-2. Since you're being so elusive, we're gonna put a contract out on you anyway! :D

The Box, Original Grips, Weapon, speed loaders and an IWB holster.

Total cost $325 plus I agree to help get her husband into a nursing home, and since several are on my travelling route, I'm a Nurse Practitioner wife's an MD internal medicine. After we left the FFL for the transfer, I made a few calls and got him into a very nice one which his insurance will cover 100%. Apparently she'd been having trouble finding a facility that was actually habitable.

Now, I love semi auto's, but there is just something about revolvers that rings a bell. I love the model 19's and 66's, let's just say any smith revolver.

I think that was a fair deal for all involved. Hopefully he will be well cared for in the facility and she will be at ease that he is being taken care of. And you will get to enjoy your beautiful revolver.

Checked in on the gentleman today, he's happy as a lark, he's getting the care he needs, he can come and go with the wife as he chooses, and the foods not so bad either, especially the chicken salad. The facility is super clean, properly staffed and equipped, private rooms. He's already made friends, plays poker in the lounge, they have a bar and Sunday brunch buffet.

Incidentally, after my work at the facility was finished, I stopped by a gunshop in town and found the following:

Springfield Armory compact for the asking price of $650, after long haggling I got it out the door for $525, with the added stop at the Coach outlet where I bought the wife the Coach purse she's been oggling, I'm out $700 but well worth it, of course, SHE gets the purse 1st, THEN I'll show her the gun, MAYBE.

I lucked into a LNIB 4" Model 66 w/both the factory magnas & oversized combat grips. The previous owner purchased it new in '73, fired five rounds of .38 & put it in a safe until I got it for $600 a few years ago.
