I carry a 1911 most days, I am left handed . I learned about PURDY holsters through this Forum. I finally got around to calling Karla last week and it just so happened she was putting finishing touches on a LH 1911 holster with new basket weave pattern that she had never used before. I bought it. It arrived yesterday.
I am a Honorary Director of TEXAS & SOUTHWESTERN CATTLE RAISERS ASSOC. We had a fundraiser for our 150th anniversary . KIMBER made us a 1911 in .45 acp with IVORY grips. They were engraved by a former USMC VIETNAM VET from IRELAND who lives in Killeen,TEXAS. There were 40 made. I got #33. You got to put your cattle Brand on the grips and the gun. My GGGrandfather registered the S brand in this county in 1871.
Does this qualify as a "BBQ Rig" ?
