New S&W 351 pd front sight

Hi folks New to the forum. Wife just purchased a S&W 351 pd received today.

Really nice gun. The front sight is very bright outside but in a dark room it's dark.
Anyone have this is gun and is the sight bright at night?. Not an issue just wondering. Thank you

If it's a fiber optic sight, it is dependent on ambient light to glow. While I don't have a 351, I'm sure that there is no integral glow in the sight. In other words, it is not a light emitting electric diode nor does it contain any Tritium radioactivity for its glow.

I don't have a 351pd but I am fairly certain that is a fiber optic front sight and fiber optic sights do not glow in the dark. They are good in low light conditions because they enhance available light; they do nothing for you in no light conditions.

I have one. Light-gathering sights don't glow in the dark.
