New S&W M686 PC Revolver sku no. 11759

I was just reading about one of the new 686 PC Models, the 4 inch 6 shooter. Its got me interested, but also a bit confused. The S&W website shows that the frame, barrel, cylinder and slide are all made of stainless steel. I know what the first three are, but am not sure what a slide is. As far as I know, none of my revolvers have slides. Maybe some of the more knowledgeable members here can enlighten me some. Something in the action?

It looks like somebody used the S&W webpage template meant for semi-autos by mistake and must have been on autopilot when providing data for the slide material category.
