Was at the local thrift store and they had this stack-on steel cabinet for sale, except it had no keys( probably why they donated it).
Got it home. Put a pair of vice grips on the lock and twisted it until the door opened. Took the lock off. Went to Lowes and purchased a new cabinet lock.
Lock would not fit, so about 15 minutes with a file and I got the square end to fit into the square slot on the door lock.
Put it all back together and now I have a nice lockable storage cabinet. Think I am going to build some shelves and use it for a storage cabinet.
Not bad for only spending $12 dollars total.
