Just want to say hi and say that I am having a great time with my new S&W purchases. I have had the AR15OR and the .38 (model 637) for a few months now. The AR is for occasional fun. I was on active duty and now that I am in the guard I don't get to shoot that often so this helps keep me fresh.
The .38 was for the wife but she doesn't like the recoil so she doesn't shoot it. This made the .38 my carry piece. Last week I picked up the Shield 9mm which has now become my daily carry. Great gun! Picked it up at the PX on post for a great price.
The guy at the desk said it also qualified for the $50 rebate but I guess I should have read the fine print. That would have made it a great price but I am not complaining seeing how much people are shelling out for a Shield. Almost just turned around and listed it for sale to make some quick cash but I like it too much.
