It was! Sixty rounds without a hiccup. I shot my steel 6 inch plate at 12 yards with 59 hits. The trigger reset with new trigger is fantastic.

Nice Shooting! Been thinking about a PC model. I'm thinking the 4" model would be a fun little target pistol to get my wife more into shooting.
Nice work. I truly enjoy mine and picked up a 4" also, which I will probably let the wife shoot. Both are very nice guns and no issues so far.

Is the safety big enough to quickly manipulate under stress?
Have you measured the trigger pull?
Does the gun have a magazine safety?

After 9 years as a S&W shareholder I finally made my first S&W purchase. As you, I selected the S&W Shield Plus PC 3" w/safety. No difference from the one posted by OP, so no need to take up server space.
I spent yesterday afternoon checking the grip, trigger, and reset on all of my semi pistols, and now, I'm expecting I'll be looking for trades on a few of them. I really liked the idea of the Hellcat, when it was released, and jumped on the chance to pick up the FDE Hellcat the day it was released. Of course, unlike socks, you really shouldn't buy handguns, unhandled, from the internet. I didn't really get into it, so she's a bit of a closet queen.
On the other hand, I encountered the Shield Plus PC on a recent "just browsing" visit to my LGS, and came home with it same day (5/13). Due to some back issues I haven't taken her out yet, but I get a chance to fondle her. Without question it is the best striker fired trigger in my collection....coming quite close to the feel of my 1911s (okay, a distant 2nd, but that's still saying something). It just feels right in my hand, where the Hellcat grip now feels terribly undersized.
One bit of a surprise...I have a MASC Leather holster for my Honor Defense Honor Guard 9, M&P Shield-like pistol. Although the Shield Plus is supposed to be just slightly larger than the Shield 1 and 2, the Shield Plus is just a tad LOOSE in the Honor Guard holster - against all expectations. That said, I believe a NEW MASC holster for the Shield will fit perfectly...so time to hit up Amazon.
