I picked up a new shield 9mm at a fantastic price. Someone had it on layaway and never finished paying. It came with an aftermarket finger extension that as purchased by the person who put it on layaway. Long story short: I'm not a fan of the pinky extensions, the essentially make the magazine the same size as the extended. The dealer couldn't find the factory base plate. I purchased it as is, called s&w to inquire about buying the factory base plate. They sent me one for free...received three days after I called! I'm very happy with my purchase and with s&w'a excellent customer service!
