I just bought one and put 200 rounds through it . Its shot fine. A friend of mine order a big dot sight for me from Brownells. Trying to remove the factory site I caught hell. Going to the range right now to try em out. I will have a video on it so check out my youtube channel.

Congrats on your new Shield. Single stack Shield vs double stack G26 -- I would consider either to be a solid choice.

I still have not found that "one" gun that meets all my criteria with all the different carrying situations that come up. It's all a compromise.

I just purchase a M&P 9mm Shield today. This choice was made after a good bit of research and comparison. I am sure I am going to love it. It looks like I will have to get another 8 round Mag for it.

I am now looking for a nice leather holster. Saw some dandy ones, on this forum a couple of weeks ago, Black Leather with nice leather work, but can't find them now to research the manufactures. Anyone know the holsters that I am talking about? Does anyone have that link?

I made my decision as soon as I handled both side by side. The Shield just fit me better.

You're saying you would choose the conceal ability in the shield over the compact G19? I guess I should just make up my damn mind. I can't buy both at the same time. Maybe the other one down the road. Lol
