Well, our new Shooter reporting for Range Duty this last Saturday. My first grandson, he is a hefty 8 lbs and hopefully he will love the smell of gunpowder!!
Grandma is visiting the new arrival and reports all is well, and daughter is enjoying the break.
I got to break in the Son in Law on all things gun related too, they got married during my 4 plus years in Iraq.

Congrats peyton! He looks like he's gonna be a M29 kinda guy!

I know a picture is there, but the thumbnail is not appearing on my screen, what I am doing wrong?

Thanks all, I am pretty happy things are going well with the family. My wife flies home tommorow and that was the best $500 I spent getting her to fly instead of driving. Less concern for me as well. I will get to meet him during my R&R at Christmas, then back to Iraq.
BTW, we have the makings of progress in Iraq, all of our nation's finest is trying to get things stable. You take things for granted, clean water, electricity, a job. Slowly, the locals are getting to enjoy peace instead of mayhem. I bring this up because I hope this young boy does not have to be here when he enlists.

Congratulations, sir. I hope he grows up to be a fine marksman.

And, on top of that, thank you for your service to this country.
