New Smith & Wesson 27

I know alot of people out there do not like the New S&Ws because of the "LOCK" , I dont like them either,anyway has anyone bought a new 27? What do you think of it? Once the lock is removed has anyone found a way to cover or fill the hole So it looks good ? Thanks
