Hi everyone. I'm new to these forums so I thought I'd put up my small revolver collection to see what you thought. Both the .44 mag and the .357 mag were engraved by a friend of my grandfather. I've no idea what it would cost now, but I think my dad paid about $500 for the engraving on the 357 mag 15-20 years ago. To tell the truth, I don't even know what engraved guns like these are worth anymore. I like them too much to ever sell them :) I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.

Those are some nice irons you got there. Welcome aboard (from a pretty new member). There's good people here.

I'm quite fond of that 44 magnum. Oh-oh, I'm getting that feeling again... must resist ....

Chris, watch out... that feeling always leaves a dent in my pocket book when it gets ahold of me :) I'm mostly double shotgun / rifle collector. But I live in montana and you need something to ward off bears. Or at least that's what I tell myself when ever I'm looking at another pistol!

Wow!

Welcome to the Forum and NICE wheel guns.

Bet those are even prettier in person.

Wes, welcome to the forum! Thanks for showing us those very nice guns. I think the gold bands at the ends of the barrel look very distinctive and compliment the rest of the engraving. The engraved sight base on the .44 is a very nice touch, the guns will be great family treasures. Enjoy the forum and glad you found it.

My idea of art. Very cool. Some collecters will tell you that hurts the value, but they are family guns so "book value" does not enter into it. I like them!
