Thanks for posting this thread! I'm going to be moving up to the Seattle area in the next month. I'm currently in Salt Lake City and have been wanting to get into IDPA and USPSA. I just picked up a G34 for that purpose that I have yet to shoot, but I have a couple thousand rounds through my G19, which feels pretty similar.

Thanks for the info IMRedeemed and WashMP9! It will come in handy when I get up here. I'm most likely going to be living north of the city in the Shoreline or Edmonds area. Maybe I'll see you at a match in the next few months.

There are monthly IDPA shoots in Marysville the first Saturday of the month. I just got started in IDPA so we will probably meet. (look for the big guy with the grey beard, no wait, that probably describes 30% of the membership)

My beard is getting more and more gray every month, so that might describe me pretty soon too . I'll probably try to get to a match starting in August or September. Not sure where Marysville is though? I'm going to be in Edmonds.

Getting ready myself to compete in the idpa. Have started putting together my equipment list, but because of our current situation within our shooting community, it now has become a challenge just to get the proper equipment needed. However, will continue to look and will be ready to compete in August.

Marysville is the next town after Everett going north on I-5, You're actually going to be closer than I am. I have to drive through Edmonds (but not by much since Shoreline is just south of where you are going to be) If we both start shooting the same matches maybe we should carpool.
