New to me 36-1 3"

Just traded for a 36-1, wanted to see how Ya'll think I did with my trade, I traded my Ruger single six 50th anniversary edition it was in good condition for this 36-1 it also is in good condition it's a square butt under the pachmyer #J8446XX I had about 300.00 in the Ruger so I think I made out good, what say you? Thanks for any comments.....

I do like the 3" on the J frame! I shoot the heck out of a 60-4 and my standard carry pick is a 337-3 at 13 oz - both with adjustable sights.

Can anyone get me a year on that serial #? I know they started the J prefix at#1 in 69 I'm thinking 4-5 years to get up to 8446xx, thanks for the comments the sickness has begun....................3 and counting.

Great Chief'. Point naturally both by azimuth and elevation. Easy to carry and accurate in aimed fire. Fill it with the old FBI 38 load and enjoy one of the best Js Smith ever built.

Might want to put some flueroscent model paint on the front ramp as it will have a tendency to reflect a lot of light.

I have a 36-1 3" also. Great carry piece. Amazingly accurate for such a small gun. I shoot the FBI load.
