New to me 64-2

I have been looking for some time for a very nice 66-2 or lower dash model in 2 1/2 inch bbl and haven't been having much luck. I had an opportunity to do a trade on a very nice 64-2 2 inch bbl, so I did it. This revolver does not appear to have been shot much at all and the action is perfect. Unfortunately it didn't come with the box etc. It didn't have the original grips, but I had a nice set of Hogue smooth tulipwood combat grips that really look nice on it. I really prefer a 2 1/2 inch barrel, but this 2 incher isn't bad. I will try to post some pictures when I have a chance. I can't tell if the crane is stamped CA or C4?

Congrats. I picked up mine from a member here a few years back. Carry it and use it at our local IDPA matches occasionally. Simple, reliable and accurate.

Those are great guns. I picked up two of them (3") years ago, DMV surplus at Cake-Davis in Sacramento. My wife used one for her bedside gun for years and I carried mine for a while.

Anything on the yoke is an assembly mark and is immaterial. The only important markings are the model number and the serial number on the bottom of the grip frame.
