Picked this up today, 64-6, factory DAO and bobbed hammer. Fired very little, tight lock up, decent trigger, with a few small handling marks, and included box & docs.

When I first saw it, I thought it was an NY-1, but it is a later MIM gun. No matter, I intend to shoot and carry it much. The DAO doesn't hurt my feelings, as I shoot greater than 95% of the time that way anyway. Old habits die hard. I added a set of Ahrend's cocobolo tacticals to it and will go do some blasting in the morning before work. :D

Hope the photo came through.

Good score:)

SA has no place outside the range anyway

Says the man who's never tried to shoot a snake or a bunny in the head or shoot a blue grouse out of a tree or fire on targets over 100 yards distant...

Very few hunters have any business shooting at deer or raccoons with DA fire, either.

Or, did you mean that SA fire is uncommon with snub .38's?
Even with those, I cock the hammer for longer shots at smaller targets.

Sweet find. 2" 10 or 64.......it don't get any better. Right near the top of my favorites list.

I like it, but the hammer would be nice for an old guy like me. Old habits are hard to break. I don't shoot enough double action. Enjoy your 64! Bob
