My newest addition. 686-2. I am told I paid at the top end of price, $700.00 for this beauty. But I was also told that I'll do fine in a flip in a couple years. No matter. This is one that will be passed down. The pix don't do her justice. I wanted a stainless companion for my 586 (no dash). The modified target grips on the 686 are actually the 586's and vice versa. Just wanted to see how they looked. The original 686 stocks are in pristine condition.

My 686-2 has the target grips. Really looks different with the grips on your 686.
686-2`s had a relatively short production run according to the Kernel.
Love mine. My 586 no dash is the larger twin, 6" barrel. That gun was my work horse for many years.
Nice revolvers!

that's avg for around my place, now go shoot it, they're purty to look at, but they'll really shine when you shoot 'em
