New to me flat latch 36

I came across this flat latch 36 today while picking up my m457 from dealer. It's a little rough and is engraved on the side plate "11-20-63 From dad to joey" but overall isn't bad especially for $50. I'm happy with the outcome.

Looks like the side plate screw that should be under the grips isn't. Might want to switch that around.

Nice grab. $50. got you the gun and the challenge to research it. The retired detective in me would have to know who JOEY was and why Dad gave him the gun. Back up for Joey the copper or before Joey the soldier shipped out to Nam? But, its your gun, enjoy.
