New to me J-frame Smith & Wesson's

Hi all,I just picked up 2 J-frames and 1 k-frame and was wondering if someone could help me with the DOB,s. Thanks in advance.

All 3 are non-diamond checkered grip, non-flat latch cylinder releases.

your model 36 no dash is between 1962 and 1967 as the trigger was changed in 1962 starting with serial number 295000 so based on your serial number I would put it very close to 1967 when the 36-1 was released.

Your 10-6 is a heavy barrel model and was made between 1967 when the D was added to the serial numbet and 1977 when the 10-7 was released. What's interesting is my Dad's 10-5 tapered barrel serial number D581xx shipped in July of 1968 according to Roy jinks. So is your serial number D4408X or D4408XX?

The serial # on the 10-6 is D4408**. This gun also has the tapered barrel, not the heavy barrel and non diamond grips
Would anyone happen to know the DOB on the Model 31-1, serial # 7918**, non diamond grips?. Thanks

fyimo, didn't steer you wrong. A 10-6 should be a heavy barrel gun, unless someone has swapped barrels. D4408XX should be 1972.
The 31-1 started in 1961 at serial number 721954, you may have to get a letter on that one as I can't find any other data one it.
