New to me model 610

[RGPM1A] I have one of the no dash 610s ... I ... put a Wichita slab comp on it.QUOTE]

That's an interesting compensator. I haven't seen another revolver compensator that is a temporary attachment. How is it held on?

Thank you for the welcome.

The weight/compensator slides onto the barrel and is held on with a bolt into the barrel lug. To install you need to drill and tap a hole for the bolt (it was a royal PITA to drill that hole!). I think Wichita Arms still sells them although one for the 610 isn't listed anymore.

i bought a 610-3 that came with a set of blond wood grips and pachmyers and has 3 dot nite sights. i got a good deal on it compared to what other N frame guns are bringing now. Seems like the dealer was glad to get rid of it because it had been in the shop a couple of months.

my 610 3 7/8" remains one of my most accurate and enjoyable revolvers, after shooting it regularly for nearly 4 years.

The more you shoot it the more you'll like it.
The 40 loads will take pins if you hit them right; the 10mm loads will fling them away like the hand of Odin....
