New to me S&W 13's

I hope this is in the right place two from the 80's one from the 70's. I started reading threads about 3 inch S&W's and thought a model 13 might join my others. A LGA had 13-2 in the upcoming auction, It was wearing rubber but in excellent condition and the price stayed right so it came home. Rubber came off and it was a square butt. As far as I know Smith did not offer 3" 13 with square butt so barrel was changed. They did a very good job. It shoots great, is tight and in time. Now one of my favorites.
Later the middle 13-3 became available. It has some holster wear and was wearing rubber also but would make great carry gun, It came home also. You can see where this is going. Then the 13-2 nickel was out there and no one would pay $625 for the factory nickel. It' at my home also.
2025 has started with the very nice Model 58 is here. I may have caught something and need help. Thanks for taking the time to read my drivel.

Love those fixed sight S&Ws.

I'm curious: did the M58 come with those Target Stocks?
I have one with targets. They look like they may have been on it since the factory but, short of paying for a letter, no way to know.

Came with original box, the magna grips s/n did not match. If it came with targets owner may have kept them. Your right only a letter could tell if it started with targets.

OP, do you have any Model 65's? One of my all-time favorite hand guns is a 4" 65. I had the barrel ported and the grip rounded off by Mag-Na-Port.

Very nice! I've recently added a 13-2 and 65-5 to my collection. Still looking for a Model 13 3" HB RB B in mint condition.

Very nice. 3" 13s and 65s have always been among my favorite S&Ws. I picked up a nice 13-3 from a neighbor over the summer. Came with Pacs, so I swapped on a set of factory stocks out of the grip box for now. Need to find a nicer set for this one...
