teesur, I don't find it listed in any of my copies of the S&W knife catalogs, or the accessories catalogs. The style of the knife is the same as several commemorative issued knives of the period 1995-2002. What does your knife say on the blades? The "Leaders Stand Alone" probably refers to the series of S&W Belt Buckles called the "Leader Stand Alone" buckles, and S&W marketing may have been considering issuing a combination Buckle & Knife set. If they did, it's not in any catalog I have, however I observed several knives, buckles, etc. in the inventory of the S&W stores ( when these stores were open around the country several years ago) that were never cataloged. Taylor Cutlery was, and still is, S&W premier licensed agent to produce S&W knives and they did literally 100s of knives as proposed production knives which were never selected by the factory for authorized production, but these knives were then sold off to the discount knife dealers. S&W did authorize several types of the knife you have, such as the 144th Anniv. knife, of which 5,000 were issued in 1996. I'm guessing that the "2000" on your knife refers to the year 2000. The "Leaders Stand Alone" series of 4 buckles appeared in the catalog in 1998, but did not appear in the 1999-2000 catalog. As said above, it's possible that S&W marketing was considering a knife/buckle combo. set to dispose of left over inventory, and the idea never got off the ground. Ed.
