Hello to All from Central Illinois
Dad born and raised in the woods of Kentucky, had to be a good aim to feed 8 siblings. Too young for WWI too old for WII Worked as an armed guard at the munitions plant in Joliet carrying a Thompson. My sister has that picture. Brother 13 yrs older collected guns long and short for as long as I can remember. Retired Air Force as Senior NCO Chanute. 3 tours in Viet Nam in armament responsible for Puff the Magic Dragon Spook and Super Spooks mini guns.
I was honorabley discharged from the USN, Parachute Rigger 2nd Class, responsible for the jet pilots with the thousand yard stare returning from combat. A little down time in 'factory life' then back to Texas as a Professional Fire Fighter, leaving the service
as LT with my own station, C shift, large city, south side, until exwife did the exwife thing.
Now remarried. So far I carry a Judge Night Court and just adopted a Model K-3 service revolver (more later). My wife also a gun nut carrys a Tracker 627 SS4 and recently 22LR Henry that she is madly in love with.
We live in rural cornfield county so its hit and miss when we shoot. No pun intended. Ask me anything you want and I'll do the same. I'll have Miss Kitty post pictures when she can
