I'm Dan Gordon. I live in Fort Davis Texas, a tiny old tourist town with population of 1,100, in the mountains of the Big Bend area. Nearly everyone here owns guns.
I just picked up a S&W Mod. 19-3, pinned, recessed, nickel coated, and in near new condition. My gunsmith friend said it is in perfect shooting condition. Tomorrow I will give it a workout.
Can anyone tell me how to get the manufacture date? The ser. # is 9K64727
