Upgraded my 6" 28-2 with a 0.400" trigger from member Toyman and a set of exceptional factory smooth target grips from member press-1-for-english. Really liked how it turned out. Thank you fellas. Shown in a factory 22 26 holster.

That combo looks great! I have a no dash 6" from 1960. It has worn many stock sets. Bob

Great looking revolver!

There is another thread where many posts praise the 4" over the 6" HP/M28. I didn't want to rain on the parade so I kept quiet, but ...

For carrying, I guess the 4" is preferable, but for shooting the 6" is easily the best choice. This goes for any magnum. That's my 2 cents!

Without question the 6" barrel will more effectively wring out more potential of the .357 magnum. Of course 12"-14" brings out the complete potential of the. 357.

Speaking of 4", here is mine with the same treatment of the 0.400" smooth target trigger and a nice set of smooth target grips.
