New user from Weymouth, MA

I survived the blizzard of 78 in Sudbury Ma,
Packed up and moved to SE Florida in 81,
No snow, no state income tax, no winter tires, no salted roads and very gun friendly btw recently got constitutional concealed carry......just an occasional hurricane and you gotta like humidity.

Wife hates the heat, won't even go as far south as PA, so only option is to go north and love the snow. :) Some day we will move.

I remember the blizzard very well - lots of cars abandoned on 128. I was helping a friend run a small snow plow a few miles north. Shared a 1/2 pint of blackberry brandy (might of been Richards Wild Iris Rose now that I think of it) to keep warm inside.

I think of the blizzard when I drive over the Sierras into Reno. Seeing the CA folks do their spin outs and slides in a few inches of slush or snow.
