New USPSA range in Ohio

A couple years ago a new owner took over Briar Rabbit and he has been working diligently cleaning up and improving the facility.

Last year he decided to add a USPSA range to the facility. The rain and the weather hasn't been much help, and they didn't get the first match off the ground as soon as they wanted..

Yesterday was their second USPSA match. IMO the USPSA range is first class, and the stages have been Very Good to Excellent.

So, if you are looking for a place to shoot USPSA ,, Rifle, Sporting Clays, or Pistols. You may want to check it out.

Great! Glad to hear. I'm in Cleveland and wouldn't mid the drive for a good range. Any pix?

A buddy of mine shot USPSA there and said they did a good job. I want to get out there to shoot it too.

Update:
Just completed another USPSA match at Briar Rabbit ( 9/13). The weather and the match yesterday was outstanding.

Everything seems to be running smoother every match. And IMO the course designs have been good to excellent.

I know the owner & several others are working hard to make this a smooth and first class USPSA shoot.

Sorry, I still haven't taken any pictures. But there are a couple pictures on the Briar Rabbit web site of the range during construction this Spring. Pistol Shooting :: Ohio Shooting Sports

Since those construction pictures, the 5 shooting bays all have drainage and are covered with packed gravel. Even after the heavy rain that Zanesville received Saturday,, the bays were not muddy for the Sunday match and I went home clean and dry ..
