Heard of this a few or so days gao but kept forgetting to post it. Anyway, Brad Pitt is making another war movie--Allied. Its supposed to be another love story "war" movie. He falls in love with a French Resistance gal--while on a secret mission in North Africa. Dunno if it'll be any good or not? but as long as I can see it in a matinee showing--I guess ill watch it.

I thought he did an outstanding job in Fury, so it won't surprise me if he's equally good in the new one. I'm sure I'll see it.

So Angelina wasn't putting out, so??

I LOVE Brad... he was great in Fury (loved that movie) and I'll be sure to watch this new one. I just love the chap!!

I think the only thing I've seen him in was, "Troy." I thought it was so bad that I didn't finish viewing it. It was a real loser, compared to the A&E mini-series, "Helen of Troy" starring Sienna Guillory, which I liked so well that I bought the DVD.

But I may try, "Fury." Thought from previews that it was just one of those films that represent GI's as scruffy non-heroes , anti-establishment types.

There are some good battle scenes, and the experience of being in the sherman feels real. However, I cannot recommend it. It has some strange interactions between the replacement and the crew; one long scene in particular, the German apartment scene) is surreal, and not in a good way. The final battle scene is outrageously unrealistic, and way too long to boot.

Battle scenes like their last fight did indeed happen. Look up Audie Murphy, Manila John Basilone for prime examples.
