New York State Gun Rally

The NYS lobby and gun rally was a huge success today in Albany,NY. Many local and state lawmakers took time to speak to the crowd estimated to be around 10,000! Speakers included NRA president David Keene who told the crowd that his group will help them ensure that the Second Amendment rights passed down to them will be passed on to future generations. "We've lost battles before. We will not lose the war" Keene said. The large crowd chanted WE WILL NOT COMPLY and Cuomo's Got To Go! The protesters were respectful and orderly with no incidents. Remember to support your local lawmakers and law enforcement officials who have spoke out in our support!!!

I hope for the NYS Police sake, they understand that enforcing these insane laws are different than traffic enforcement!

I was there and even though the local news channels were reporting that there were 5000 people there the actual number of people was more like 10000-12000. I was proud that so many came from all over our state!
One of the speakers made a point that NY is the testing ground for more federal anti 2 amendment laws. I believe that to be true. I'm so sick of the comments that we got what we voted, from people in more gun friendly states. I didn't vote that way! Nor did most of Upstate voters. We need to keep up the fight and we need encouragement not distain.
