Newb from fl.

As it says newbie guy from fl 25. Here to try and try as much info on my first gun. Trying to decide between a sigma sv9 or sv40. Read a lot of people crying about the trigger pull. Doesnt really concern me. I had a rather frightening experance last weekend. Was working at friends shop on our trucks and we standing outside just bull ****ting and someone drove and randomly fired at us. No one was hit thank who ever you pray to. But I feel it's time that I do need some protection for my self should situation arise.

Little bit about me. I love working on trucks and going to mini truck shows. Going shooting with my friends. I can't spell to save my life. I love a cold beer on a Friday after work.

Get the .40, Know the law. Have a 2nd ammendment lawyer on call. If you are putting yourself in that situation you discribed it's probably time you thought about getting yourself another pass time. Remember COPS are just looking for an excuse to put you in jail.

Several advantages and disadvantages for both pistols.

I happen to be a fan of the .40 caliber over the 9mm, but there are just as many with opposite feelings. Choose the one that fits you the best and then practice, practice, practice.

I wasent aware working on trucks and hanging out in a private shop was such a bad pass time... We were told by the cops that it was one of two things they fired at us to scare us for ****s an giggles or some gangs in order to gain entrance you commit a random murder. And they said thats also what it could have been
