First thanks to all of you who gave good advice in my pre auction thread.

I went and while I've been to lots of auctions this was my first gun auction. The place was crazy with maybe 20 people there for every gun.
I was able to pick up a 12-3 Airweight (alloy frame, steel barrel and cylinder) unfired in the box with papers and tools for $425 net. That's $50 below what my SCSW shows for ANIB.

Thought that was OK - bidding was really crazy on all the semi-automatics with a couple of Kel Tec P3's that I think sell in the high $200's going for $400 each. A Colt Gold Cup brought $1600.

So how do you think I did??

Thanks

Steve

Steve - you did great on the NIB model 12 and I'm happy you were successful bringing something home.
Did you get a snubnose?

WE NEED PICTURES!

What prices did the Model 586 and the Mod 29 bring?

Snubnose yes, 2" barrel.

The 29 went for $750and the 586 turned out to be really a 520 and went for $475 (I think). There were several errors on the sale flyer.

Someday I will figure out how to do pix.

Thanks for being interested.
