Hi all,
Well I posted a bunch of my collection back in september but aparently we only hold them so long on this forum. I had this Model 48 loaned out to a friend who was teaching and using his Mod 17 but needed another .22 that was similar! Since mine had been back to S&W and had the factory .22 cylinder installed mine has been a helper in his class!
This is a 70's vintage Model 48 and went back some time at the end of the 70's to have the additional cylinder fitted. Hope you enjoy the rather fuzzy pictures, and excuse the glare my friend believes more oil is more protection. It will be dry by this weekend!!
I also just aquired a Civil War Vintage Model 2 Army and will post that in the appropriate forum. Take care and God bless....cordell
