Greeetings from Texas,

I'm excited to be a new member of this forum, been stalking this thread for awhile and decided to join. I just bought my
MP-15 Sport II few days ago and haven't bring it to the range yet. My first AR and my first gun basically. I read here that it needs to be cleaned first before firing the first shot. Just want to hear from you guys any suggestions. Thank you....:):):)

Welcome from North Dakota. You'll get plenty of good advice here :)

Howdy from South Carolina, and welcome to the forum.

If I buy a firearm at the range and am to impatient to fully field strip it, at a minimum, I clean the bore before shooting.

Here are the steps you need to follow.

1. Clean it
2. Shoot it
3. Clean it
4. Repeat steps 1 -3 as many times as necessary.

Welcome to the forum.

As big as Texas is and the popularity of shooting the AR-15,,,there are millions of this style /caliber here.
Stock up on ammo, go out and shoot it,,,,and you will now see why it is so popular here.

Welcome from a fellow Texan wildpanther1945. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Welcome to a good bunch of gun nuts. Some are roasted and salted while some are not. All in all a good bunch.
I have an S&W M&P 15-22 that has performed well since I bought it used. I tend to go through ammo real fast with it though. No hiccups so that's good.

Thank a lot guys for the warm welcome. Yes, I'll have fun playing my new toy and I'm reading a lot of the good reviews and shares on the forum.
I'll keep in mind +1 Targets Guy said; Clean, Shoot , Clean..:) :) :)
