Newbie: Model 34 .22 LR Date

Greetings all! I'm new here, posting because I'd like to figure out when my Model 34-1 was made. Serial # is M211387. I bought it used sometime between 1991 and 2004. Here are links to two photos on my Flickr site. Thanks for any help you can furnish.

It appears your 34-1 was made in 1982 according to the 3rd edition of Std Catalog.

The links didn't come out very well, so you might try again.

I also have a 34-1 4". Mine was made in 1981 and they are GREAT guns. Hope you enjoy it.

I think I've got the photos working now. I added red nail polish the front ramp sight to improve visibility.

The letter N appears on the inside of the cylinder facing the hammer/firing pin (the part you can see here). Anyone know what this means?
