Hello all, New to the forum.
I've been lurking for quite a while and decided to join up.
I know a few of you from other firearm forums.
I'm picking up a new to me S&W model 19-4 snubby sometime this week. Looking forward to shooting this one!
I've been after a model 19 for some time now.
It's a 1978 made with 2.5-inch barrel. All original in about 90%+ condition. I do have one other Smith snub nose 37 Airweight.
My intended purpose for the 19-4 is for carry.
I also have a 586-2 and a 18-4 that I enjoy kicking around the woods with! S&W along with Colt's are my primary interest.
P.S. I'm located in southern Maine.

Welcome aboard from coastal North Carolina. I've owned a model 19 since 1977, and carried it as a duty weapon for nearly 25 years. It is a fine handgun.

FYI, MTR Custom Leather and Don Hume make some nice IWB or OWB holsters for the M19.

Welcome from the NC foothills. You'll like the round butt 2-1/2" M19 for carry, it hides really well. My primary CC is a M66-1 like that. Full power magnum loads make for a real light show out of that short barrel, be sure to look extra cool and wear sunglasses. :D
