Sage advice.
I keep praying to the S&W gods that they will create a .41 magnum version of the 69.
Unless you "need" the sixth round, get the 69. I have both the 2.75 inch and the 4.25 inch 69's and they are both great.

The 69 is five rounds and the 629 is six rounds.
I have a 69 & 629. In my opinion the 69 is much handier than the 29. Just MHO

Both are solid options tbh, just comes down to what you enjoy shooting more and what fits your style. I’d probably handle both again and go with whichever feels right in hand.
I only need one. Yes, I'm THAT good. lolYes, but "did I fire five shots or only four" just doesn't sound right.

I find the 69 fits my smaller hands much better as it is a K frame grip.
I find it is a great beat around the bush gun. Very flexible, you have magnum if you want it, 44 Spl, or I use shot shells for snakes and small varmints.
