NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS 2015

Great playoff series, Great teams, and CONGRATS to the Blackhawks on winning Lord Stanley's Cup. As always, the Worm did an outstanding job.

I can't believe it - June, July, August and September is training camp. October - we start again!! Have a nice summer, boys!:D

If ever we have a more enjoyable Summer, it will definitely be this one. Brutal Winter we just went through.

Enjoy the Black Flies, hey they have to eat too.:D

Did a lot of trout fishing in the Baker River and surrounding area, so I know a little about them thar flies.

To all you hockey fans.

I am a loyal Reds, Bengals (I know), Bearcats, Buckeyes and Musketeer fan. I watch the Cyclones (junior league) but have never followed the pros. Lab told me to just start watching and the energy and the rush would rub off.

He was right. I watched and learned. I picked out a few teams to follow and became ensnared. Hockey has an unpredictable, fierce, resolve about it that other sports lack.

I never posted as I had nothing to bring to the table, but everyday, after logging on, I would hit this thread. I've enjoyed the ribbing, wit, kindness and the tantalizing snacks you folks set out.

I'll be ready next season as I would like to play in this sand box.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this thread. Thanks.

1st:

Congrats to the HAWKS, Great series, didn't turn out my way, but great hockey IS great hockey.

2nd:

Labworm, you are awesome for getting this thing going. I appreciate everyone letting me play along, it made it a great release during the WHOLE play off series.

3rd:

It's going to be a loooooong time until October. I've been in front of the tv or computer for the whole series.

So now what do we do now? Anyone?

We now return to our regularly scheduled program.

It's been fun boys and (girls)?

You have to love one goal games! No better way to keep fans on the edge of their seats. The B'hawks and Boltz played fast paced games and the crossbar and goal posts played some sweet music or sour notes depending on one's point of view. I cannot remember a better Stanley Cup series.
I'm exhausted, I cannot imagine how the players feel.

Should have taken the time yesterday and drove up to greet them at the airport, again, a day late and a dollar short before I thought of it...........

Ya' got a good team, ginzo. They got nothing to hang their head about. They played an excellent series!!!:D:D:D

Next year - who knows? it could be the Lightnings' turn.

I agree, Tampa will be up top for some time.;)

Stinks when this thread finally slows down and comes to a halt, doesn't it?:(

PS: ginzo won't be a rookie anymore in the future threads.:D

He is officially one of the boys now.

I rooted for TB, but Chicago Is Tough!

I was rooting for TB, but Chicago was tough, I think they were desperate to win. Chicago is "Hockey Town USA", and it would have been bitter medicine, to lose to an opposing coach with 3 years in the NHL.

I look for TB to win a cup within 5 years, their coach is a genius. And Stamkos may sign a contract, for $12,000,000 per year, to stay in TB. I think they will be back to the playoffs next year.:)

Again, thanks for getting this going, GLAD i found it. Yes, I won't be a "probie" next year, and I WILL be back.

Everyone made me welcome from my 1st post. This is my favorite forum, and this by far, is the best thread!

Oh, you are more than welcome to "try" I can take it, but I can dish it out also. I was polite because I was the "new" guy, have to earn your place, and pay homage to the "old folk".:D:rolleyes:

I didn't see anything hateful/hurtful from anyone, no matter who their team was, or when they were eliminated. I think we all had a back up team if ours didn't make it.

Does that mean we can abuse him?:D:D:D:D
