Thought I’d share my recently acquired NIB 1983 Smith & Wesson Model 439 2nd Generation 9mm 7+1-shot Full Size (4” barrel), steel slide, alloy frame, factory original nickel finish semi-automatic pistol, which included two (2) sets of stocks: Factory wood & fake Mother-of-Pearl (MOP).

I purchased and installed a 1-of-a-kind set of “spalted” Brazilian cherry wood stocks with genuine 24-carat gold screws.

I like it very much!

Thanks for takin a look!

Much obliged.

Whooooo whee! That's a looker for sure! By the way, the 39, 39-2, and x39 pistols are 8+1 rounds, not 7+1. Don't be selling them short by a round! I have a Model 439 too, early production like yours, but mine is in basic blue/black. I've always liked the looks of the nickel plated 39 series pistols, just never could find one at a price I could afford.
