I have been looking for a shooter-grade Model 27 with the 3.5" barrel (which seem to have gotten very popular and pricey currently). Walked into the LGS and they happen to have one 27-2 NIB with the wooden presentation case, complete with tools and papers. The story is an older gunsmith passed away and they bought all his inventory, which included this one.
They are asking $2k even, much too rich for me, but it has been there for awhile, so maybe they will accept offers.
