Last weekend one of my local LGSs had a Glocktoberfest. Gave away hourly prizes and a new Glock on Fri. and Sat.
They also had some great used guns for sale and at a 10% discount for the sale. They had a dozen or so Model 64s +P rated. They were police turn ins.
I looked them over and bought one. It was a 64-7. the price was just under $270.00. OTD was just under $294.00.
Took it home, and removed the side plate. No wear at all. Also no lube. Dry as a bone. I called the dealer up and told them to let other customers know about the dry lockwork.
Cleaned and lubed it. Took it to an indoor range yesterday. After shooting it a while, I tried it in DA mode on a 75% size IDPA target at 7yds., which is just short of 9 yds for a full size target.I shot as fast as I could using Hornady 125gr. XTPs and Winchester white box 125gr JHP +P. I was very happy with the results. Not to bad for 72, fused middle joint on my right thumb, and a titanium knuckle joint on my right trigger finger. ( Sorry, had to brag a little).
Forgot to mention, the LGS also has a 90 day warranty on any used gun they sell. You can get your money back, except for the 5.00 call in fee, or store credit. I don't think I will have to worry about using the warranty with this revolver.
