Does any one know the percentage of nickeled to blue guns in any Smith & Wesson revolver. In Colts it is typically 5% to 8% nickeled or do I have been told if you leave out the electrolis nickel autos.
For prewar .38 M & P revolvers, the quoted figure has been 10%, but I think the percentage is all over the map depending on the model. .32 and .38 Double Action and Safety Hammerless guns seem to be nickel more often than blue, and others (models 17, 18 and a bunch of others) are five-figure guns in factory nickel.
