Just got a hold of a .40 PRO core and was wondering if anyone makes tritium powered night sights for the fixed sights on the slide. I'm going through the macarena of trying to figure which mini red dot optic to go with, and would like to have the night sights as a great backup to this pistol. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I've been trying to find fiber optic sights for the same reason and have yet to find any. Post back if you do.

I have a 40 cal Pro series and I found a TruGlo sight set on ebay. They work great. I was able to do the rear sight but had to have a gunsmith do the front.
Here is what I bought for a little over $40.

Does the rear sight hang off of the back of the slide? What work did the gunsmith have to do to fit the front sight?

At the very least, I would like to check swap out my front sight to a fiber optic, have checked out the sight set (which looks like a generic pic of what they were styled like) is the set as tall at the OE sights? I am checking out all options before modifying my M&P before I spend up to $450 on a reflex sight and not be able to co witness through it.

I too bought some Trijicon M&P HD Night Sights for my M&P Pro CORE and they would not fit due to the RMR relief cut for the RMR in the CORE. The rear sight is totally different then the standard M&P Pro. The issue I have is that the .305 front sight is so tall for BUIS that it causes the gun to shoot low. I did some rough math and given my sight radius and the range (7 yards) I want to zero my gun for, I need to find a .186 front sight. I really want some HD night sights for this gun, I love S&W but because of the sights I have started to favor my Walther PPQ. Since I've been having a hard time finding sights for the CORE series, I just ordered the Crimson Trace laser for it, but I really want a set of IS where the POA is the POI at 7 yards and with the tall stock sights that is not possible. Any suggestions?!?!?

Just finished speaking with Dawson Precision and they will make Tritium Night Sights for the S&W M&P CORE. Takes about 3 weeks.

Now I just need a CORE.

We had Dawson make sights for our core. Just sent them the gun. Fiber front and all black rear. Very nice.

Does anybody besides Dawson make night sights for the CORE? For the life of me I can't find anything.

Just got my CORE .40 with Trijicon RM07 last week and I'm loving it...except for the fact that it's way hard for me to pick up the red dot in the dark.

Buy the trijicon RMo5g and have built in night sights and fiber optic for lighted conditions , no battery and a green color thans not over powering. Its what I have on mine as a CC pistol and fun gun.

So how do the night sights work on that exactly? The ding I heard on the RM05 (and others like it) is that the dot isn't super intense like on the battery powered ones, and can get washed out in bright light.

BTW, supposedly a place called Tooltech Gunsight can do custom tritium inserts...but they're closed till the middle of October. Trijicon told me that they have no intention of producing CORE night sights for the forseeable future.

It has a tritium insert as you know and fiber optic for day. Not sure how to cover that more. The GREEN color I picked works better for me than amber or a normal red as the green is the same color as the night site tritium part and the green is a color that shows very well in brite light with out being to intense as some red and amber sights can be yet shows very well in low light or moving from dark to light conditions. All with no battery. I don't want additional night sights on the handgun but if you want that option to use with any other brand optic then check out Dawson Precision for night sight in a CORE height.

Rear and front sights sold separately. Front sights up to 350 height. Watch optic brands as some reduce fixed sights use. Some block them completely like vortex.

FYI, I just had Tooltech drill out my stock sights and install tritium night sights. It wasn't cheap (just under $200) but I couldn't be happier with the results. Not sure why more manufacturers don't make tall night sights for the CORE.

I have a thread on this already and I have dawson precision night sights that co witness my tall *** burris fast fire so it will co winess anything.
