There is a danger with stoning the end of the DA sear: it can cause binding on the DA pull as the hammer/trigger clearance gets too small on the lower trigger nose (aka, the "trigger cam").Originally posted by HEADKNOCKER:
I'm not a gunsmith but have seen many S&Ws hammers walk up sidways a bit because the Dual Action Sear is not square causing the hammer to rub..
