I came across these grips on the web today. Do any of you currently use them? They look very good but a bit on the pricey side, would like some feed back before ordering a set. I am thinking of getting some for my 637 & 686SSR.

They are very nice but for me I had to shape them some.

I don't see the point when Hogues or Ahrends will do the job just as well for about half as much.

Yes, they are expensive. But you will not find a finer made wooden grip. They are truly works of art. Here are some pics of some Nill grips on a 620 I gave to my father:

You cannot even feel the seam between the two haves of the grip. That is how precisely made they are. And they fit your hand like a glove. I'd would have to say that the only thing that feels better in my hands than these grips is a woman's breasts.

Their Coke Bottle reproduction grips for N-frames are materpieces. Truly custom fit and quality. Amazing checkering. I got one of the first pair they produced. Worth the money and the long wait in my case. God Bless, Marc

I have a set of Round to Square Nills on a Model 19 frame, and they are very comfortable. The workmanship rivals that of Kurac (forum member) as the best grips I've ever seen.

Well worth the money, in my opinion.

Anyone have these on a small J frame? I am not able to see the pictures on their site for the J frame. I have a M36 I would be interested in changing grips on.

I have two pairs of Nill on J frames currently, and have used them on K frames and N frames in the past. They are by far the best grips I have ever used.

Nills on the bottom gun in this pic.

Thanks for all of the info, I will be ordering some for my 637 soon and if I like them will put a set on my 686. Thanks again for all of the input.

My Nills: J, K, and N Frames

I bought the N-frame Nill at the Kansas City NRA Convention several years ago. This was when Nill had an outlet in Texas staffed by a pretty and capable blond German women and some others from Germany. When I called Texas for the other two grips, she handled the transactions on the phone both times. They long ago closed the Texas outlet, but I have seen her competing a couple of times since on the German team at Bianchi Cup.

Did you refinish the trigger and hammer on that 620?

Nills are spectacular albeit pricey.

Am currently looking for a proper set for my M60. Have a set on my P7-M8; they are gorgeous...and functional.

Be safe.

I picked up a pair for my 29 at a gun show a few years back. They were brand new and I paid 55.00 for them--by far the best investment I ever made in handgun grips!
They are flawless and feel better than any other grips I have ever tried.

I use these on my 649 (J frame), which is the gun I carry the majority of the time, and am very happy with the look and feel. They are quality for sure.

Even though they are wood they absorb recoil gracefully. I prefer them over the stock rubber grips the gun came with as far as felt recoil, which is worth noting since wood generally has a worse reputation for felt recoil.

This felt recoil reduction is in part due to the slickness of the grips. This could also be considered a downside. This is my favorite grip style though.

In any case the quality is immediately apparent and I would buy grips from Nill again.

I have a stipled set of Nills on my 686 and they are absolutely fantastic. If you wear a ring on your shooting hand you may notice some hand/grip interference, but the fit and finish of these grips is outstanding. Buy them!

This is a set I just bought from our own classifieds. I havent recieved them yet just sent payment today.Ive been wanting a set for awhile and I think they look great.
