Nitesiters??

They are what they are. You get what you paid for.
Little stick on dots, that when you charge them with a flashlight are very bright, the brightest night site youll ever see. But it wont last more than an hour. Great if you have time to charge them right before you need them. For what they are they work OK.
Your results may vary.

They look good but the instructions say to set your alarm every hour through the night to keep them recharged. I think I'll just use a rail light on my home gun.

I went ahead and ordered a pack. We'll see how it goes. They were only $15 shipped.

One of my officers purchased a KelTec .32 and wanted to carry it off duty. Policy states that he must qualify day and night with it.

Daytime was no problem, though the state requires a course of fire that goes back to the 25 yard line.

In anticipation of night fire, he purchased some of the Nitesiters and stuck one on his front sight.

It was a little hard to get the dot to stick at first but the dot served its intended purpose. He charged it with a flashlight and it glowed long enough for him to complete the course.

You might be better off using a dab of luminous paint on your sights but I don't know how expensive the paint is compared to the Nitesiters.

YMMV

Nitesighters

I bought some of their paint to make temporary night sights for an M&P I had to do a night qual with but didn't have night sights yet. It was quick to charge and brighter than any tritium sight on the line. I don't know if it worked all quals, as I had a chance to hit it a couple of seconds between strings while it was in the holster as "extra insurance." I put on 3 coats and 3 coats of clear nail polish after filling the dots with the stuff. Works pretty darn good for the money, checking it to see long it is useable after say, a 10 second dose of Surefire would be interesting. Haven't used any of there dots that they sent, but like the paint, they are BRIGHT compared to tritium sights or the old luminous paint.

You guys might wanna get a set of these Meprolights:

About 8 years ago, I installed 'em on my Model 66 2-1/2", and STILL going strong (checked 'em in the bathroom before I took these pics :D)!

Best 80 Bucks I EVER spent on a carry revolver!
