The NJ state assembly passed a bill expanding guy buybacks.

NJ.com has an editorial saying that the buybacks need to be mandatory like they did in Australia.

Yeah that worked out read well for them! ISIS was in the process of kidnapping dozens of people to publicly behead them knowing there was no one who could stop them.

Ya notice they don't try that in Texas? :D

How can a state, county, city buy back anything it did'nt sell?

Maybe ISIS doesn't try anything in Texas 'cause Texas doesn't sell guys any more. I understand Texas stopped that some years ago. :D

Why is NJ buying guys? Granted my negative perception of the state is based on a stint at Ft. Dix but this seems odd even by NJ standards.

I have been waiting for something like this. I will be happy to fly to NJ to sell all my guns for pennies on the dollar. My much beloved engraved 696, my USFA Single Action with Paul Persinger's ivory grips, all my S&W revolvers, my Colts, my Winchesters, etc. If I could get $100 per gun, I would be so happy that I would just mess my pants. This is like a dream come true.
