I know some have already placed orders, but thought I would give a heads-up if anyone is looking.

Don't forget your $50 rebate from Smith & Wesson:

For those that have purchased before from Bud's, what has been the delay from purchase date to shipping date?

Depends on when it's ordered. I bought a 4566 TSW from them on Saturday 5/29 and it was shipped Tuesday 6/1. Another prior order took a bit longer.

I've ordered from Buds three times and it's always taken 5 to 7 days to get to Nevada.
Good outfit.

I bought a Ruger from Buds within the past month. It came fast. My FFL said it actually shipped out of a distributor, I believe in Texas. I don't think you can beat them on price or service. I will buy from them again. Their website is one of the best and navigates fast.

It doesn't say "no lock". Only picture. Do you trust the picture?

Actually it's the NL in the description (No Lock?) and the picture.

Also, they have the same product code # as the ones shown on RSR's website that specifically states "NO LCK" or "WO/IL" in the description.

So yea, I feel pretty confident these are the No Internal Lock models.

I have purchased guns from Bud's several times. Prices are very good and shipping service is great! If you have doubts about the lock, just call and order the gun over the telephone. They will confirm the lock situation and answer any other questions you have.

I'm waiting with keen anticipation for them to introduce the 686 without the lock.:)

Has anyone called buds to see if the m&p 340 is in fact a no lock version?

I just bought one of the 351Cs (.22mag, Centenial framed). No lock and I really love it!

This sure is temping! But man, that's a hard pill to swallow when my local gun store has the 442 with lock for $349!

Does anyone know if I'll pay tax for a gun shipped to Alabama?

thanks,
-Kyle
